Is it human nature to only treasure things and people when they no longer have it?

Yesterday was the final presentation for my biz comm module. Yeah! Finally its over... got me so stressed n nervous for an entire week... every group slogging over the content, afraid that the task is not met... slogging over the powerpoint slides... rehearsing the presentation as a team... my group met with the intention to rehearse our speech together but we read too much into the task and ended up with no time to rehearse. Oh no! Come to tink of it, time really flies! 13 weeks gone in a blink of an eye... had a pre-test presentation in week 2 or 3 and final post-test presentation in week 13... and kinda concluded the entire biz comm module.

Hmm... initially i dread this module... of all things, i was assigned to an all-guys group! I dun believe that! I'm in HR, where the number of guys is like the amount of water in a desert.. and i'm actually working with 4 guys out of the 9 in my cls! Call this lucky or ... ? But through the almost weekly project discussions cum lunches with them (at our so-called HR table at canteen B), i got to know them better and they are actually great people! Found out quite a bit about them... they are very serious when it comes to work. Ray and Zonghan, especially... you will see them with that typical troubled look when they are unclear about an issue. Then Andrew is the one compiling our powerpoint slides... and he never fails to attach pictures on the presentation slides! Whenever i receive Andrew's sms, i will be stressed... cos he rushing me to send him my part of the slides... Another interesting thing is that these guys gossip too! So please dun have the stereotype that only girls gossip... guys do so too! Besides, they gossip about anything under the sun! Well well... when good things will always come to an end... now that i'm comfortable working with them, its the end of the course. No doubt, we most probably will be in same class next semester, we may not work as a team again. Nevertheless, i'm glad i had the chance to work with them.
