It's another starry weekend for me!! (Though i only saw a star.... and i don't mean stars in the sky)
I saw SLY!!! Yes, Sly from Singapore Idol! My gosh... he's so cute!!! I was actually at K-box @Cineleisure, went to the ladies, and on my way back to our room, i almost bumped into someone around the bend and when i looked up, i saw Sly... at that time, there were only the 2 of us along the corridor... (excluding his security guard la... that extra)
my goodness... i think i was too shocked that i stood rooted to the ground and could not register him in my head. I didn't even shake his hands!! Until i was back in the ktv room, i screamed (i think i screamed) to my friends 'I saw SLY!!' They must have thought that i've gone crazy...
Then the irritating BoonKhin, purposely wanna disturb me... took out a packet of tissue paper which has Sylvester the cat on the cover, showed it to me and said 'I saw Sly too!' So anti-climax rite? Anyway, Sly & Taufik were there for some Starhub promotion event...
I met up with my clique from JC 1st 3 months last sat and the turnout was pretty good. We had Cindy, Jane, Xiaomin, Lester, Daniel, BoonKhin & me for the ktv session. It was nice seeing all of them again after so long... i'm rather proud of this group of friends and that we are still keeping in touch till today. Many of my other friends find it surprising that i still meet up with my 1st 3months friends... but well, i think our friendship came a long way so all of us treasure it a lot, and so, we take the effort to keep in touch.
The singing was fun... there were updates for 5566's songs! They added 'Yin wei ai', 'C'est si bon' and 'It's our party time' liao so Xiaomin & i were of course, very very excited! When duets were being played, they kept asking me to sing with BoonKhin... aiyo, 4 years liao and this thing is still going on... i have no idea how the whole thing started but they like to pair me up with BoonKhin...
Halfway through, BoonKhin, Daniel & Lester got to leave for other committments, so left us girls to sing. After singing, we went to Din Tai Fung (the xiao long bao restaurant @Paragon) to queue up seats while waiting for Weiling, Lionel & Daniel to come. (Daniel came back to join us for dinner... ) The queue is super long and i think the waitress sucks... she actually snatched the order list away from my hands while i was holding it... She could actually ask me nicely for it lor... but she didn't... So rude and i'm so disgusted!
After dinner, we went to NYDC (newly opened, outside Heeren) to chill out. The place, though in the open, where everyone walking along the street can see us eating, has pretty good ambience actually... at least to me... cos the streets are lighted with Xmas decorations so the feeling is quite good... we ordered drinks, sampled each other's drinks, joked, crapped, suaned one another.... and time passes so quickly like this... around 11.15pm, we decided to leave...
Lionel offered to drive us home (actually i was like expecting he will drive us back la... haha... got to sit in my favourite red madza 3 again!) But his tiny red car cannot fit us all in... so Daniel, being the super nice guy, volunteered to take train home himself so that Lionel can drive all the girls back. So sweet of Daniel...
Enough of words.... i'm so tired of typing liao... shall 'exhibit' some photos we took... pls bear with me for seeing photos of me with all the guys... cos they are taken with my camera, so most of the photos has got me inside...
