5. From Boon Lay to Bishan (decided against it.. supper ended too late... went back hall instead)

Supposed to meet Weijun & Ruizhi (these ppl are my pri sch clsmates) for lunch yesterday before going to the airport but Ruizhi had lunch at home liao... so only me meeting Weijun for lunch... well, i was late cos i was too engrossed in watching the repeat of MVP... haha... typical me...

Anyway, we went to the food court for lunch and boy... i was so impressed with Weijun! He's such a gentleman! When we found ourselves a seat, he asked what i wanted to eat and said that he will get it for me. Then when he came back with the food, he asked if i want any drinks and he went to get it too (and he didn't get himself a drink)... *3 cheers for Weijun*

This is like one of the very rare occasions a guy treat me so well... i'm pretty impressed and touched... (maybe because it was Weijun's birthday that day so he decided to be nice?) but i finally felt like a lady, like a princess... i'm used to being treated like a princess by Shanz (Do u see ur name here??) but not other ppl... haha.. i guess usually the guys treat me like 'brothers'? That's why they don't bother helping me buy food, don't bother opening doors and holding them for me? I mean, i don't expect them to really do these (i'm not their gf...) but at least, if they ever ask, i'll still feel good about it... I thought guys should show some 'feng du'? Haiz...guys nowadays... okie i'm digressing too far away...

After lunch, we met up with Ruizhi and shopped around for a present for Pye Swee. Pye Swee is another of my pri sch clsmate, who left for U.S yesterday. That was why we went to the airport... to send him off... seems that he can't wait to go back... just ord-ed on 22nd then immediately flew back to U.S on 23rd... anyway, we bought him a massager which might be useful for him on the plane...

Then because it was also Weijun's birthday, Ruizhi had to 'bluff' Weijun to go to the toilet together while i went to get a birthday card for him. The people waiting at the airport had also prepared a box of chocolates waiting for Weijun...

Took bus 53 to the airport and the bus ride was so bloody long... an hour and 20 mins... the air-con wasn't on full blast and it was so warm and stuffy... finally reached the airport and met up with the rest (Kailin, Alvin & Ivan) there... went to Mac to wrap the gift and write the card... also sms-ed Clarence who was already with Pye Swee to come down to sign the card.. then went to meet up with Pye Swee after that at Burger King...

At around 4.10pm, Pye Swee checked in... and we remembered we have not written in the card for Weijun, so Ruizhi brought Weijun on a tour around the airport while the few of us were trying to write our wishes for him as soon as possible... haha... it was a pretty amusing experience... Weijun already knew that we bought him a present and he had to act so surprised when we presented it to him... good acting skills...

Travelled a long long way to Bugis for dinner, after which i travelled to Boon Lay to meet my WSC peers to go to Boys' home for our weekly volunteer service... the session yesterday was pretty enjoyable... we played Uno with the boys and chatted with them... one of my boys is transferring to another block so i won't get to see him again... so sad... really glad to have a nice, short chat with him yesterday cos usually he's quite quiet... i almost cried when he asked me to take care... well, i'll miss him...

As usual, went for supper after our session... had fun crapping with the people... and Uncle Chee Yong (one of our seniors, already 24.. so we call him Uncle...) trying very hard to understand why girls at this age like to go ga-ga over their idols... haha... couldn't finish the potato chips we bought so they started playing 'zhong ji mi ma' so that the loser has to eat the remaining chips... lucky i never kena... hee...

Well.. totally shagged... wanted go home initially but too tired, so decided go back hall... okie time for me to sleep... its like 3.30am already... off to la-la land...
