Yeah, finally its saturday!! No need to work... and i actually slept in until noon!! Its such a wonderful feeling... haha... really dread waking up at 7am every morning for the past 1 week. Not that i dread going to work, but because i cant sleep longer.... and i can rest my feet for 2 days! Got so many blisters on my feet.. no matter how many plasters i stuck on my feet and how many so-called 'blister preventors' i stuck on my shoes, i still get blisters!! So painful and my feet looks ugly... =(
Anyway, the last few days at work was pretty much the same... invigilation for exams... i see some of the candidates for so many papers until i can remember their names. No need to ask them liao, can just distribute their answer scripts directly to them. Some of them were pretty surprised that i actually remembered their names... hee... i made some cute observations during my invigilations... one of the male candidates, Mr J (quite cute! hee...) is such an interesting person. They had to shade their answers on the OAS answer sheet and he actually used the kind of pencil that kids use... i dont really know how to describe it.. but its those type where the pencil lead is in this white plastic thingy and u can take one of it out and push in into the back of the pencil and a new, sharp lead appears... understand? When he finished his paper and handed it in to me, he would take a look at the answer script of the person who handed in before him... he said he wanted to check the answers and reassure himself.. so interesting eh...?
There is another cute guy, Mr L.. he talked to me in the lift! Haha... cant blame me for being so 'hua chi' cos my entire dept consists of only females... so i can only take this chance to give my eyes some treat. From next week onwards, i guess i would be stuck in the office most of the time...
Oh yah, yesterday was friday the 13th... any of you encountered unlucky experiences?? Well, i didnt... haha
Saw Weijun on my work to work actually... he was walking in front of me at the underpass and i thought his back view looked quite familiar to me... didnt call him cos i didnt want to embarrass myself in case it was the wrong person... so i sms-ed him instead.. and it was indeed him.. haha... his workplace is just in the building opposite mine! After lunch, i saw Xiaomin with her mum and her sister too! Such a coincidence... saw so many people i know...
Went to Orchard after work to meet PS and Xiaomin for dinner at Subway... yummy yummy! After that, we proceeded to the florist and bought 2 rosed to present to Fiona after her concert... so sweet of us rite? hee hee... but the horrible thing happened when we got on a cab to go to ACS Barker. The uncle was unsure of the place and his attitude was quite bad. He didnt even bother to check out the place with his office or something and kind of demanded us to tell him where is the place. If i were to know, i wouldnt have spent that much money to take a cab lor! Not only that, his driving skills sucks! He actually made a right turn when there was a sign showing no right turn allowed!! Can you believe that?! We were the only vehicle in the different direction in that lane... so dangerous!! Fortunately, the traffic light turned red for the vehicles on the adjacent side and he managed to 'squeeze' out and quickly drove to another road, moving in the correct direction... he took the wrong way and made such a big detour... the cab fare cost nearly 10 bucks and he charged us 8 bucks in the end. But i feel the fare should be much cheaper as Newton is so damn near to Orchard... disgusted with him! Luckily, the concert haven started when we reached... if not, i'll lodge a complaint against that taxi driver!
The TJC choir concert was quite fun... boring at the beginning as i really didnt know how to appreciate those songs... but the 2nd half was enjoyable... a sing and dance kind of performance... Fiona dressed up as a guy! So cute.. haha... but more suitbale for her personality la.. think she will just die if she was asked to wear the cheong sam!!
Okie.. shall go and prepare to meet Kimmy and Ah Heng to go to Nana's birthday chalet!! Ciao
