Today is like war for NTU Business students... subject registration day! For the sake of this important day, i got half day leave (yeah!) as i had to rush back to campus to use the computer.
Seriously this is the day i hate most throughout my Uni life... entire system gets jammed up with like hundreds of students logging in at exactly 1pm. The scenario is quite funny... everyone would secure a computer at the free access lab and login to STARS, with all the subject codes planned out. As the time nears to 1pm, the entire lab become silent as everyone waits for the 'Golden Moment' to click into that link and pray everything goes smoothly. If you are lucky, you get all your modules within 3 minutes. Otherwise, you either dont get what you intended or you may have to wait a couple of hours in order to login again.
Fortunately for me, jo and xuan, we managed to login but jo and i could not get one of our core modules. In the end, xuan had to drop that class and we re-planned our timetable. Got a 5 day week instead of the 4 days that we planned... argh!! Well, look on the bright side, most of our classes start at 1230 or 1430 so no more 0830 classes!! Maybe i dont have to stay in hostel anymore.. i'm looking forward to move home actually...
Anyway, I saw Mr G for the past 2 days without fail ( i think all of you are getting a bit sick with me seeing Mr G everyday... haha... ) As for today, i think he got a full day off from his attachment so i didnt see him at the mrt today... so i thought, maybe we are not that fated after all... well well... i was wrong! All Jo's fault!! After registering our subjects, jo wanted to meet her fren at CITS to collect something so we accompanied her there. We were chatting while waiting for her outside CITS... then she called me and asked us to go into CITS as she might take some time. So we went in to wait for jo... and guess what?! I saw Mr G in there... my gosh... i see him om campus when i dont see him at work... fate? or just some kind of probability, like what ivan loves to say?
I must say, i am quite lucky to have my bunch of frenz... they seem to understand me... with just some observations (as xuan claimed.. hee), they managed to guess who Mr G is and they got it right the very 1st time! 'G' is just an alphabet from his name, not the 1st letter of his surname or name... and xuan actually managed to guess correctly.. best!
Shall stop harping on Mr G now... STOP!!! People, please stop me whenever i start on that issue, okie? Haha.. i dont wanna be a 'hua1 chi1' ger...
Went ktv with xuan after lunching with jo and liz... We had the room from nearly 4pm till 9pm, at the normal 2 - 7pm charges! Wonderful!
Before i end off, just wanna say 'Happy 21st Birthday' to Dickson!!
