I received 2 birthday invites on last friday within an hour! Can you imagine that?!
Haiz.. i just wish i can disappear from planet Earth for this whople year, except on my birthday!! Hee =p The agony of a 21 year old... countless parties... really can get headaches from deciding what presents to get for your friends... i believe the best gift is cash or voucher, but it lacks sincerity.
Anyway, i went for Jeannie's 21st birthday party yesterday... felt really weird as i didnt know more than half the people there... this is another problem when it comes to parties... you'll see people from pri sch, sec sch, jc/poly, uni/colleagues... small cliques will form in different corners of the house or the chalet... the worse thing that can happen is that your guests are too shy... that is why i have decided to take BBQ off my list... imagine the guests are all shy to mingle around the bbq pit... nobody would be cooking or eating!!
Hmm.. heard from my supervisor i would be going to help out at Recruitment next week but my manager told me i'll start this week... *confused* But i'm gonna miss Training & Development... really had some great times and i like both my supervisor and manager.
3 more weeks of attachment left... so far, i have really enjoyed myself... i'm only an intern currently so i dont have to worry much as long as i do my work and complete it on time. But in future, there is bound to be office politics and lots of nonsense to handle... oh yah, but one thing i dislike about working life is, i have to iron my blouses and skirts every sunday!! Being a lazy person (oops...), i leave everything to accumulate until sunday when i have no choice but to iron the one week's worth of attire. If not, i'll not have anything decent to wear to work! Because of this, i gave up the singing session at Patrick's house this afternoon... wanted to stay home to finish all these chores (feel like a housewife... yucks!) ... so, sorry my pals... but i wont forget our date at K-box the week after!! Looking forward to it!
