"Hey baby..."
How would you feel if you receive an email with contents as shown above? Only those 2 words... Moreover, its from a colleague whom you knew for only 1 week but in fact, only interacted for 2 days?
Well, i freaked out... i really did as i was shocked =O If the email was from a close friend/ buddy, i would be indifferent towards it... as for this, i cant help but feel freaked out... i was extremely uncomfortable with the way he addressed me... *goosebumps* Maybe you guys think i'm over-reacting but i am really scared. Haha... i'm just a traditional and conservative little mei-mei... heh heh
This guy was one of the new staff i got to know from last week's orientation program... one of the members in my group... naturally we will chat and furthermore, he's around my age range... only a few years older... so one day after the orientation, he emailed me (cos he works at another location) and asked to exchange hp numbers... okie i gave mine to him... then he smsed and asked me out for dinner one of these days... i gave all sorts of excuses to refuse the invitation cos i felt weird... managed to end the sms conversation somehow...
Then came today's email... just felt very uncomfortable after seeing it... fortunately i was going for lunch by that time so i simply replied i was going out for lunch... that stopped further emails...
so scary... i quickly deleted all emails received and those i replied from my inbox and sent items... company emails are logged so better to play safe... haha...
Any advice on what i should do in future? Ignore the emails / sms ? Laugh it off and continue to reply?
