Experienced another farewell last saturday... *sob sob* Faizal, a jc classmate of mine, left for Australia to further his studies. This means there is 1 less shuai-ge in Singapore.. haha! A little disappointing that only me, nana, vicki and jing heng went to send him off at the airport while his soccer gang and other friends came in big groups... what happened to the rest of 01A4C?? Some of you see your other half 24/7, can't you just spare a little time for our dear classmate? Even if you can't make it, please have the courtesy to reply the sms-es... Haiz.. i'm plainly disgusted by the turnout. Anyway, wish Faizal the very best and well, he'll be back in Dec for a short vacation... we shall organise a get-together..
After Faizal checked in, we left for dinner... Vicki had some other appointment so that leaves jing heng with me and nana... had dinner at swensen's and spent nearly 3 hours there chatting... jing heng also treated us ice-cream!! This is the 1st time i realised he is such a nice person... hahah! He is now part of us - our 'sister'!
As we were chatting, we realised all 3 of us are still single.. maybe that is why we always turn up at most gatherings... then out came a "splendid" idea.. we shall meet up on the 16th of every month (because the day we suggested this was 16th July... we call it 'Singles' Nite') to catch up.. and the 1st person to get attached will have to give the other 2 a treat! For once, i don't wanna get treats!! I want to be the one treating... haha! Anyway, i hope we do meet up often to catch up.. if not, the 01A4C spirit will vanish in no time...
Anyway, I sms-ed him to thank him for the treat... below is our sms correspondence.. quite funny! So just share lah...
Me: "Heyz.. thanx for the treat! 1st time i realise u're such a nice person.. u really fit in as 'sister' "
JH: "Er.. so i'm jing heng mei-mei now? ...."
Me: "Yah.. since u're younger than us, of course u're the mei-mei... but come to think of it, its a bit gross.."
JH: "Yeee... Tao Yan... (ok, this is really getting sick) "
