Happy Birthday Singapore! (hmm i dunno if the date of the entry will appear as 9th or 10th.. but anway just wanna give my greetings!)
9th August - a day that actually holds quite some meaning & memories for me, and i believe for my wonderful bunch of frens from e4. I met up with them (finally) this afternoon, really had a great time! Had lunch, ktv, dinner and went to Marina to catch the fireworks & the Superstar finalists at Concert by the Bay! Ktv was wonderful... as Xiaomin joined us later, we took the chance to quickly 'dian' all the songs Derrick sang for the superstar competition before she came (since the 3 of us adore him) ... hee... very madness of us! My personal favourite(s) are Ji De by A*Mei & Ni Zou Le by Sam Lee.
Anyway, the fireworks are simply beautiful but i find the display a bit short... could have been better if they can show more!
After the NDP/fireworks ended, the audience at Marina started to make their way out... we tried to find our way into the concert area... saw people holding tickets so we thought tix were required in order to watch the concert... observed around & managed to get in without tix but we were unable to go into the priority area... then we found out there is a priority area for Singtel mobile users if they download a National Day MMS... 1 download can get you a pair of tix so being a little crazy, Fiona & I downloaded the mms (costs $2.63 per download can!) Showed the officials there the mms, got our tix and proceeded to the priority area... we were simply waiting for Superstar finalists to appear and they came out very late, around 10pm... sang 4 songs - Superstar theme, Cestsibon, Lao Shu Ai Da Mi & Yi Qi Zou Ba. Derrick is so cute!~ I was busy snapping pictures and recording videos but they don't seem to appear very clear... =\
Also realised that e4 actually spent last year's National Day together as well... we went for the 5566 M1 Party @Chinablack and went for ktv after that... at the same branch too! Time really flies... our official anniversary is on 15th Feb so next week would be our 2.5 years anniversary! Long live e4!~ Woo hoo~ I love you gals!
