Ooh.. some of my friends really perk up my day! Despite being so stressed up, i really enjoyed those short moments away from school work when i'm with my friends, especially my primary school classmates. I'm not saying i don't enjoy times with my other friends. So all my kakis, don't be mistaken ah! Shall touch more on this later in the post.

Ivan, thanks so much for the post on your blog! I am so flattered by your comments! =)

Friday:

Attended Tiff's bday party at Aranda... gosh, i travelled from Boon Lay, all the way to Pasir Ris! And i had lessons the whole day, 0930 till 1830 ... so tiring... Tiff, aren't you honoured that i came? Hee hee =p oh yah, thanx so much for the stuff you got me from HK!~ I love them but the black/white top is a bit too big.

Had a good time catching up with Jeannie... fortunately for her presence, i didn't have to worry about being alone as i don't know the rest of Tiff's friends! Jeannie said i've become prettier, but put on a bit of weight!! hee.. *blush blush* but truthfully, i was very happy... hearing such comments from a female close friend, you know it got to be true somehow. If it came from a guy, i would think he is just flirting with me! Or he simply has a 'sweet mouth'... haha...

Seriously i don't think i've become prettier (i'm no where near pretty) but maybe because i tend to be more vain and dress up more now, i look more presentable. Shall post some past vs. now photos soon.. you people can then be the judge.. haa

Saturday:

Went for a haircut at Kimage Kovan. Seems like all my stress and troubles got cut away.. very 'light' feeling... as XX and i booked for the same stylist, XX got her hair cut 1st while i got my hair washed and blown 1st. They even did a straighting (temporary one la) for me... i just so love the effect, looks as if i rebonded my hair! After haircut, went to Jo's place for project meeting. She said my hairstyle looks a bit like Kelly Poon! Haah.. went home and my brother said the same.

After project meeting ended, i realised i actually could make it for JJ's bday party so i decided to drop by and give JJ a surprise! I even told him i specially went to get a haircut for his bday! He pretended to be touched... damn it! So fake. *Btw, JJ's my primary school classmate*

I don't know if it was because of my earlier comments, i become the 'entertainer' of the party... my friends began teasing me with JJ! I merely said his house is very nice and that he seems quite rich mah, i didn't say i want to be the mistress of his house!! So embarrassing leh... later JJ and his parents really think i got a crush on him... die!~ Jokes and more jokes about me, now i'm JJ's personal maid... alamak! But it was really fun... i had such a good time there that i forgot all about my stress. Oh yah, i got 2 pimples popping out liao... must be JJ's super yummy, super rich chocolate cake... so JJ, are you going to marry me now? haha! i'm nuts... just kidding la...

A lot of friends around me are surprised when i tell them i still meet up with my primary school classmates. Many of them do not keep in touch with their primary school pals anymore. Well, i also lost touch with mine for like 8 years... until mid of last year, we managed to gather 10 odd people for a dinner. Subsequently, we had a chalet and many outings together.

Of course, the turnout for subsequent outings wasn't as fantastic... only the regulars would come. Nevertheless, i'm very grateful that although we lost touch for 8 years, the 'chemistry' seems to come back very quickly. Everyone is so 'brother-sister' and we talk about anything under the sun! We never fail to laugh like mad during our outings. Sometimes (ok, most of the time) i'm the 'entertainer', who is being teased and 'suan-ed' by them but i don't mind. Appreciate the friendship... thanks guys!
