Superstar concert was quite a disappointment... not in terms of quality of the program but the crowd instead... the program was very good in fact... variations in the performance, not plain sing and dance type of concert... songs they sang were mostly well selected and all the performers sang much better than the grand finals! I like the parts where Derrick, Choong, Chanel, Sugi and Jason impersonated the 5 judges, it was very entertaining... and Sugi resembles Li Fei Hui - 90%! I also like practically all the male superstars (except for people like Jason, Raymond...)... haha! Fiona said that i'm becoming a carrot (hua xin da luo bo) but truthfully la, the male superstars looked great and dashing that day!
BUT the atmosphere was totally OFF! I guess a lot of people went because they had free tickets or whatever... in my section, only me, XX and Fiona had lightsticks and only 3 of us were screaming... whenever we scream, this disgusting man in front of us would turn and stare at us like we are some aliens... hello, we are at a concert, not a musical... so aren't we supposed to be screaming and be high? I turned back and saw those kids behind us looking so sian, sitting so still, so prim and proper in their seats... wah lao! sian half!! This is the 1st time feeling so sian at a concert because the people around me are so not high... maybe its because we are sitting at the $58 section but then again, those sitting way in front don't sound very high as well... that is why i only go for the most expensive tickets for my 5566 concerts... thinking back, i have spent like $450 on the 3 concerts 5566 had held in Singapore... quite a big sum of money but then i am willing to pay for the atmosphere lah... if go to a concert and be off, might as well sit at home and watch the vcd if they are going to launch it...
