My swollen eye became worse... i almost couldn't peel open my eye this morning cos it hurts like shit... I thought it was something minor and would go away in no time but turned out that there's more swelling and redness to my eyelid... no choice lor, went to the doc... the kind and fatherly doc said i'm being 'attacked' by some atypical germs, cannot be treated with the conventional penicillin (pardon the wrong spelling cos i'm not a medical student.. wahaha)... one of the glands in the eyelid is infected... apparently it started from my throat... i didnt know a thing as there is no pain, no sore throat, nothing... but the doc said that the germs caused dryness to my throat (looks super red inside as the doc showed me using a mirror...) and somehow affected my eye cos they are connected... okay, whatever...

To think my mum told me its because of heatiness and she said the swell would go away if i used a shell to rub against it... some lousy advice! Dunno what kind of myth is that... but anyway, the visit to the doc costs me $42!! The doc gave me an antibiotic and the bottle contains 15ml of suspension... i'm supposed to take it once a day, 10ml per dose... basically the medicine can only last me for 1 and a half dose and it costs over $20!! So i'm asked to go back for a review tomorrow!! Hopefully the suspension will help to reduce the swell and i can stick with the ointment and need not purchase another bottle of antibiotic... and before i went off, i asked the doc a lame question - So i should avoid my contact lens? Haha... his answer was 'definitely' ... boo hoo~ I have programmes from friday till next tuesday.... pray that the swell will go away so that i can wear my contact lens!! I don't wanna go out in my specs!!
Anyway, the hall relocation stuff have finally been finalized... and i have decided to continue staying in hall although the rental fees are much higher now... a double room costs more than my current single room! But the Uni will subsidize these fees for 6 months to compensate for the inconvenience and stuff... so not that bad... anyone wanna come visit me after i move to my new room? Hee...
