Happy 22nd Birthday, Jo!!

Today is Jo's birthday and we surprised her with a cake during lunch break! XX and i went to place an order for the cake last saturday and we had a hard time choosing the cake... cos jo doesn't eat chocolate, coffee and cheese... so best choice is fruit cake... heh... Prima Deli's service is not bad; they offered delivery services, even to NTU... so we just had to pick up from the uncle when he called... but they have poor sense of timing.... we requested for delivery to be between 12 - 12.30pm but they arrived at 10 plus.... luckily we had lessons at 10.30am and both xx and i reached school early today...

Yummy mango cake

I brought along my wonderful camera and then we didn't take any photographs of ourselves! And to think today is our last seminar/tutorial together as a HR class.. aiyo! Since today somewhat marks the end of our Uni life (excluding exams....), shall just take a walk down memory lane of my Uni life.... (no mood to study now... just blog before going to bed... heh)...

Friends made from NBS FOC before i started my Uni life proper - helped me adapt to Uni life more easily... with the guidance of our seniors, time-tables were planned and textbooks bought... gone through some of the most unbelievable things during FOC, like jumping off the diving board into a 4m deep pool (i can't swim for nuts!!)... and how i cried on my cgl's singlet cos i simply was too frightened to jump into that pool... and how my cgl and senior attach 'preached' me into jumping.. "do it for Mambo (our OG name), do it for yourself..."

NBS Freshmen Orientation camp Best OG - Mambo

Friends made in 1st year of Uni - when you enter into your 1st tutorial class and so blur about things around you.... comforting to make some really nice buddies to hang out with and also as project mates... we do still keep in touch frequently even though we are in different specializations now... will miss all the birthdays and ktv sessions we had together...

Jo's bday 2004

Jo's bday 2005

Rachel's bday 2005

Part and parcel of our business modules - endless projects & presentations!! Definitely wont forget how we dread presentations cos it means rushing reports, staying up till the wee hours, making countless changes, preparation of our powerpoint slides and speech, rehearse and rehearse... Not forgetting how difficult it had been for us to get contacts when projects require us to study real-life companies and we had to conduct interviews with them...

My Year 2 biz com group - Andrew, Leong Chee, Me, Han-ge, Lei-ge

Interview at Peninsular-Excelsior Hotel for Strategic HR module

Interview @L&S for HR Metrics

One of the most nerve-wrecking presentations - strict markers

Uni life is not just about studies... i have my cca(s) to make it more colourful... Rotaract Club, WSC, Hall Rec subcom....

Rotaract Club - Trip to QianHu (1)

QianHu fish farm trip (2) - fellow member from YD unit

People with big hearts - Blk B Volunteers of Welfare Society Club

Rec subcom + Boggle

And of course, i will miss all my wonderful friends!

The person who 'slept' with me for 2 years - my roomie!

My hair-cut khaki - always go cut hair together!

A friend whom i got closer to during internship

Lastly, my buddy! Won't really miss her lah cos i see her so often... but more of miss bunking over in each other's hall bcos of 56.. wahaha.. and her giving up the bed to me... =p

For those of you who didn't see your faces up here, it doesn't mean i wont miss you people... just that i do not have very nice photos taken with you... hee hee...
