Today is an action-packed day but its also a goody day!~ I got great deals... really made my day!
Started off the morning at almost 8am... travelled to school for my last paper... darn, it is super application-based! Haiz... but 40% only, hopefully the 60% coursework will help lah..
Went off to meet XX and her friend at Outram after my paper... collected our air tickets from the travel agent and exchanged currency... i must say, you must really check out various money changers before exchanging... we were quoted 19.8 last week... this week Sing dollars grew stronger so we expect the rate to go up a bit.. while waiting for XX to come, i went to check out the rates and was quoted 19.9.. i thought it was a pretty good deal and wanted to wait for XX to come then exchange together... the woman thought i didn't like the rate or what... called me back and asked how much i want.. so i asked how much she can give me... in the end, i daringly said 20! But the auntie said cannot... then i told her i intend to exchange $1000 so she offered me 19.95 which was really a good deal! In the end, we each got NTD 10000 for $501.25 ... hee hee...
After that, went down to town - OG and Metro sales - 20% storewide! Whee!~ But i didn't buy anything lah... really broke le... and since haven found a job, no hurry to get exec clothing yet... aiming at some heels from Americaya but i shall wait till i come back from Taiwan... might get better deals there! Bought a money belt from Planet Traveller at Paragon for $7.90... exact same time selling at over $10 at Chinatown! What the...
Saw an ex-colleague (the aunite promoting skincare products) from Guardian... she's now stationed at Paragon branch... we bought thermal spray from her which was on offer... then auntie say very happy to see us... and she knew we going travelling, she gave us many samples - cleanser, make-up remover... just nice to bring overseas! Its really nice of her!! Simply 'earned' it... haha... pays to know more people...
After a long day of shopping, we proceeded to Marina Square to meet the Uni HRC gang for dinner... dinner and catching up at Cafe Cartel... and some 'light shopping' at Guardian and Watsons... we ladies are beginning to discuss about beauty tips and porducts... wahaha... really signs of aging! sigh... and no wonder they always say its easy to earn women's money cos we are simply vain!
