What a tiring day! Spent half the day out with xx and we walked like miles... but super satisfying trip out today! Can you imagine, i only spent $1.40 today (excluding transport)?!
We got a lift to the office to do the career profiling and that guy talked a lot, a lot.... we were there from 11plus till like 2pm... i was so hungry... but after that he treat us lunch la... that explains why i didn't spend much money today... plus the office is in Beach Road, very convenient for us as we went to Funan... walked there... xx bought her digital camera at a super good deal, very happy for her... hee... after that we went to UIC Building.. i was told it is near Lau Pa Sat, so we walked to Raffles Place but walked a long distance before we finally found the building!! It is not exactly near Lau Pa Sat! Our legs were on the verge of giving way.... gathered strength to walk to Raffles station and took a train down to Chinatown to settle some matters with the travel agent...
The hotels which we chose are all fully booked! Argh... so disgusting... either we settle for a room in a hotel in Zhongshan or change our departure date and try our luck again... in the end, we released the original flight and pushed back our departure date... pray we will get the hotels of our choice...
The weather is quite bad these days... can get damn sunny one moment and then starts to pour the next moment... my whole family, with the exception of my 2nd bro, is down with a bad throat... my dad, mum, bro and i are all speaking with a husky voice and somewhat we sound like we are whispering... those still having exams and those preparing for overseas trip, better take care and drink more water!
