I've got some joyous news to share... hmm... i'm getting married...
No no.. i was just kidding...
The news is, I'm finally an employee! Working at Genome Institute of Science (GIS), a research institute funded by A-Star...! yay~
Fed-up with myself, with job agencies who didnt follow up, sick of receiving phonecalls from the persistent company P, sick of sending resumes and getting no response... i finally got to know of a vacancy through my PA manager... contacted the person in charge, sent resume, went interview... and earlier this morning, i was down at the office again to have a short chat with the department colleagues and most importantly, sign the offer letter! Actually, i must say i'm already quite fortunate though my job hunt took quite long... this was actually the 2nd interview i've been to during my job search period... fortunately i didn't have to go through much more rounds of rejection...
Starting work on monday... please do not ask me for a treat (like Mr Ivan.. hahas) cos i am totally broke and pay not fantastically high... i think you people should buy me gifts to celebrate my joy.. like maybe a mug and stuff to decorate my desk with? wahaha...
Looking forward, yet worried and unsure ~~
*On a sidenote, when the heck is K-box gonna have Kelly's songs?!!! Even Fan Weiqi's new songs are up... argh!
