Just some updates:
4th day into my new job. Doing fine currently... not very busy yet... just trying to settle in and learn the ropes. Trying very hard to remember names and faces as well.. So many researchers and scientists, espcially the ang-mohs.. they look pretty alike to me! Haha.. gimme more time please!
Colleagues are rather friendly and helpful... I really appreciate that cos i am looking into a job with good working environment =)
But what kills me is the travelling and waking up at 6.30am every morning! Always have to pull myself out of bed... hope my body clock will adjust soon... any of you driving to NUS in the mornings next time, lemme noe can? Buona Vista, on the way la.. hee
I'm still quite persistent in walking to and fro the train station to office, despite having to walk up this slope... there are shuttle buses but i shall keep to walking, unless it rains ba... treat it as a form of exercise since my job is quite desk-bound... haa... i only take the shuttle bus during lunch cos the bus actually brings us out to Holland V or Ghim Moh! Pretty cool~
Anyway, i just gotten my email account and phone line... can get them from me if you think you need to contact me during office hours... i've got msn on the office pc too.. haha... but dun expect me to chat la... i go online just to show my existence =p
