Met up with the AIA colleagues for lunch yesterday... ooh they really gave Siew Lin and I 'face' cos the whole department came... the sad thing was that 3 colleagues had left the company already, so we weren't able to meet up with them... but well, the new staff and student intern joined us for lunch too, pretty cool experience! Nice chat with our junior, bitching about our tutors and of course, asking how much she's paid for this PA! =p
These ex-colleagues are still as nice and friendly, asking about our job search and all... and the greatest surprise i had this morning was a phone call from my manager! Didnt get to talk to her much yesterday but she called me this morning with a potential job opportunity as her friend is sourcing for a candidate! That's really nice of her! Gotta forward my resume and grab the chance if its available!~
Went to Serangoon Broadway with SL to get our academic gown for convocation... manz, the robe is disgustingly huge! I could fit into size S with the robe still 'hanging' onto me... better put lots of safety pins in case it slips off me on the actual convocation day! Peeps who have yet collected yours, can just collect it directly from the studio... don't have to go through the webmail instructions la.. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
