Lalala... though i've got monday blues today, what's better than a word of praise and encouragement from the Director (Director of Corporate Services - my big boss) to perk my day! lalalla~
Part of my job requires me to make announcements over the PA system on a weekly basis - to inform staff about seminars and talks. I had my 1st attempt last week and i think i sounded sucky, so nervous! Imagine the whole building can hear you! One of my colleagues even came out to ask 'Who made announcement ah?' I guess i really sounded bad...
After lunch today, my senior told me they had a 'test' for me - the dreadful announcement making again! No choice lor, had to be thick-skinned and do it... i think i was slightly better than last week but my senior thought i sounded a bit stern... but when the director came to my desk and said i did a good job, i was relieved! Hee... happy~~ but i'll die in future when seminars titles include horrible scientific names and 'so-damn-difficult-to-pronounce' scientists' names!
I totally agree with the saying that 'you'll get to know how tough it is to earn money when you start working'! Haven even got 1st salary and i'm already thinking of all the debts i have to repay... gosh!
And i've recently added another 'debt' to the load - insurance premiums! Just got a policy that is exclusively for ladies... wahaha... well, i feel its a need to get protection while young lah... at least premiums are lower! Anyone interested? I can arrange you to speak with my planner, Miss Chua! Hee =p
Sigh~ When you no longer get any pocket money and start to visit the ATM every now and then, you really feel the ache when parting with money!! I am being so 'auntie' now, beginning to record my daily expenses so that i can track... haha...
Realised that many artistes have just released their albums... beginning to lose touch with the new songs and all! boo hoo... when is Derrick gonna release his album? Think i will switch camps and trot to Junyang's camp temporarily in the short run! Haha... cos i was so mesmerised by JY when i saw him singing and playing the piano at the same time!
Anyway, i feel like going to Minds Cafe one of these weekends... kinda miss that farming game - Bohnanza! Any kakis?
