Took half day leave and went back NTU to collect my degree transcript and invitation cards for convocation ceremony. Initially planned to authorize xx or jo to collect on my behalf but got persuaded by some of my classmates to go back. Since i haven seen them for some time, decided to take leave at the last minute.
It was nice going back, see all the business graduates crowded at the auditorium... and just within these few months, the School of Design is more or less up, with nice greenery on the slopes. Besides, the interchange at JP has already shifted to another location... i didn't even know! Oh yah, we also went back with a "Thank You' card for our FYP tutor... wahaha...
Next was lunch at Pizza Hut with about 1/4 of the HRC cohort. The manager was pretty kind, gave us a discount though we were not students anymore and we didn't dine at the time when discount was offered! Maybe it was because we went in a big group... hee... didn't feel like going back to work actually, just felt like staying on to chat with my classmates but no choice...
Jo is asking me to go for NBS convo ball... $55 at The Fullerton. Pricing is considered quite alright and convocation ball is like once in a lifetime but i don't really wish to go through the hassle of buying a gown and doing hair/makeup =( But then again, quite a lot of the HRC-ians are going... Ray even offered to let me cut queue, let me be 1st in the Q to be his date if i'm going for convo ball! Wahaha... should i go or not? (not because of ray's offer la..)
Oh yea, i was impressed with SouL's performance today!~ Kinda worried cos they were doing a slow song but i thought they performed quite well... whee!~ Andy sounded quite sexy and as usual, their dance moves were great! Ishi cut his hair cos gotta go back for NS, so not used to his short hair! Check his new hair in the photo below...
