Been not well these few days... lots of phlegm leading to cough... make me feel lousy at work cos i get drowsy easily... =( But i'm glad for the concern by my senior, kept asking if i'm ok and all...
Had a satisfying lunch this afternoon... finally lunched with the PAs, my senior and my buddy at work, after like 1 whole week! We drove out to Tiong Bahru market for lunch... so spoilt for choice - the famous tiong bahru roast meat, tiong bahru pau, porridge etc etc... yum!~ The PAs had planned to bring us to NUS for lunch one of these days if time permits!! =)
I found that its quite fun negotiating with suppliers! Called our stationery supplier to check up on prices for 3M adhensive tapes... damn ex, 30 odd per roll!! Consulted my senior and decided to call the supplier back to bargain cos we were going to purchase more than one.. i quote the supplier "i cannot do much for 3M products, but okay lah... for your sake, i give another $1 discount..." A bit diaox but well, better than nothing... next time i must sa3 jiao1 more! Wahaha~
Anyway, Jo sent me a video which she took at the NBS Convocation Ball... the HRC guys doing a band thingy on stage... rather amusing!
Oh no, i just got a 'bomb' from my colleague - invitation to her wedding! I mean, i'm happy for her la but i'm not very close with her... aiyo... must give ang pow liao... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
