Yet another busy day at work... can you believe of the 8 hrs at work, i only went to the ladies once??? And i was only at my desk for like 1-2 hours for the entire day?
Busy with my weekly checks of inventory in the morning... by the time i was done, it was lunch! Then my colleagues and i took a cab to Clementi Central for lunch.. haha... was partly on official purpose, to buy some stuff to prepare for visit... then we took a cab back to office again! wahahah..
In the afternoon, we had a visit from Mr Iswaran, the Minister of State (Ministry of Trade & Industry) and some representatives from MTI and A*STAR this afternoon... these are VVVIPs! Passenger lifts and cargo lift went on independent mode, carpet laid in the cargo lift, had like 5 security guards on standby (for other visits, usually we have like 2 only..)! The contractors even came to polish the black tiles at the common area (but they used kiwi shoe polish.. *faint*) yesterday!
Again, i helped my senior with the backend work for this visit... prepared name tags, table placecards, setup meeting room, placed labcoats at other levels for the visitors' lab visit... yes, i'm like Maria the maid... placed evian water, glasses, company brochures and to clear up after the visit... phew, i'm tired but glad to have chance to help out with such things cos i like doing such organisation stuff.. also happy that my efforts were appreciated, got a 'good job' compliment from my senior! =)
Going to help out at another big event next month... gonna work with the handsome ang moh, as his accompanying officer... wahahha! So looking forward to it... hee hee ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
