I had a terrific, super-duper enjoying day and all thanks to my darling e4! Met up with the gals this afternoon to chill out at Fiona's place (cos we ran out of activity ideas!)... Fiona drove us to the supermart for grocery shopping then we proceeded to her house to cook!
Lets see what we managed to churn out...
We cooked a lot of food - Spaghetti in tomato sauce with meatballs, mushroom and egg, fried nuggets, potato and egg salad, boiled sweet corn and otah.. sounds like a lot for 4 right? We can't finish all the food.. not because its not tasty, but because we over-bought the stuff.. in fact, the food's yummy!~ We are great chefs and perfect housewives.. wahahaAfter dinner, we had a short ktv session (cannot tahan us right, even at Fiona's house also can sing!) but of course, got limited song choices... still quite fun but we stopped singing after her mum came back.. didnt want to embarrass ourselves... hee hee...
We decided to take a walk around the estate and the place is quite cool... nice facilities and we decided that our next gathering is to try the jacuzzi there... we took a lot of silly photographs and was so embarrassed when a couple walked past!
Look! We're playing 'imaginery golf'
Tall, taller, tallest?!
Fio & Min playing tennis; Me & Shanz playing bball; Min & Shanz trying to reach up high
The gals were flustered (i think so) when Min & i went into kitchen to help prepare the dessert... cos they actually planned a surprise for us! Bought us a birthday cake - belated celebration for Min & early one for me... you gals are so sweet, such darlings! *muacks* My 1st birthday cake 2 weeks in advanced.. really touched! Thanks for everything; planning the surprise, meeting earlier to buy the cake, the present... !
~ Us with the cake (my fave pic); making a wish; blowing the candles & cutting the cake ~
Grabbed from Shanz's blog.. very nicely made!
Present-giving ceremony and tah dah.. chocolates!
Yummy cake but too full to have more
