Max came by today and he actually remembered me... i was his accompanying officer for only a couple of hours last week, and i was wearing my glasses today... he could actually recognise... haha... had a little chat with him; he's starting work on monday... great! A new talent joining the post-doc family...
Really tired from work today... left office only at 7 plus and still felt like i didn't accomplish much... running around a lot earlier and so much things popping out... headache over the choice of restaurants for the upcoming scientific advisory board meeting... need a luxurious place but have got limited budget... shucks.. 2 more weeks left~~
And this stupid woman from another dept, i so wanna slap her! She requested for some tender documents from OPC and i was asked to assist her, make sure she does not mess up the order of the documents when she's zapping them... BUT ended up i was the one photocopying and she stood behind me, like supervising me leh! I was paiseh to ask her to zap the documents herself and yet felt weird with her looking at me, and not even offering to help... (no wonder the guys said she's a like a piece of wood).. i told her i might take very long (2 arch files full of documents!) and told her to come back later...
After finishing one file, i couldn't take it... whined to the OPC guys and they called her to come back and do it... haha... but i think it still didn't register in her pea-sized brain that she got to personally do the zapping... the guys lied to her, saying i have a meeting to attend to, can't help her... then she got the cheek to ask me if i can help her do it tomorrow! Damn~~ you are the one who needs the stuff, zap them yourself! Hello miss... i'm not your personal assistant!
Tomorrow's the last day of attachment for the student interns... i'm so sad, so gonna miss dear Ira! She's been a great companion, helping me out at the seminar every wednesday... and when she leaves, the cubicle next to mine will be empty... 1 less person to gossip and bitch with... =(
