My reward from volunteering to work on a saturday - Jonathan Leong's appearance at HDB Hub!!
I hear the MC mentioning ' Jonathan Leong' so i 'threw' my 2 colleagues at the booth and ran to the stage area... then Jon was singing! Haha... best i had was my handphone so here are some super zoom-ified photos...
Anyway, the 6 hours of duty passed by quite quickly... giving out brochures, answering questions... The most enjoyable part was helping the kids apply the tattoo sticker - its very popular! There were kids who had visited our booth on earlier days but still came back today and asked for the tattoo... haha!I was the representative to 'model' our tattoo so i did it on my hand... think its quite cute la... the 'creature' is actually a cartoon version of the H5N1 Avian Flu virus!
Plenty of exhibits to view... i visited the SCDF booth which was very cool with their red Rhino vehicle and the guys on duty were all very friendly! Wahaha... that's not the main point though... MOE's booth was popular too as they showcased their stuff on a bus and it was air-conditioned!! My colleagues and i made a trip up the bus just to enjoy the air con... hee
Anyway, tomorrow is the last day... if you haven been there, i urge you to drop by to take a look!
