Had a great celebration yesterday in the office!~ The Xmas mood was very intense and nobody had the mood to work!
The day started with us going round office to distribute presents and wishing everyone Merry Christmas... while a few of them (i mean, the OFM guys) were hiding at the secluded area to finish up with the wrapping of their gifts to us! Oh, how sincere! Haha... but well, for 3 men to produce the outcome, it was considered a job well done!
A tally of my presents as at early morning yesterdayWe stood around chit-chatting, then felt guilty and then back to our desks to do some work... but really, nobody had the mood... On and off, colleagues crowded around my desk to look see look see cos i have this 'treasure box'!
Sadly, those were not my presents! They were meant for a gift exchange session during our party... i was one of the coordinators so i helped to keep track of who's taking part and whether they submitted their gift...
At 4 pm, we had our party started! Lots of food and actually i brought a bottle of red wine to share but so kuku, there isn't a bottle opener!! In the end, red wine was left sitting in the fridge...

Nicely arranged gifts - all ready for the exchange sessionHere's how our gift exchange goes:
1. Everyone will pick a number - this determines the order in which we will pick the gift. If someone picks 1, he will be first to select a gift from the lot.
2. After 1 has picked a gift, 2 continues to select his gift... but 2 has the choice of keeping what he picked or exchanging with 1. This is a game of risk and gamble... cos you won't know which gift is actually 'better'... but we limit the rule that one can only choose to exchange with the person right before him... if not we will take ages to complete...

Tally of presents at the end of yesterday! whee~Met up with Min for dinner at Changing Appetite @Marina Square as an early celebration... the food was good and we had a nice long catching-up session... we bad gals didnt feel like going home despite it being 11pm and ended up strolling from Cityhall to Orchard... very nice, can chat a lot but my legs almost gave way! The last 2 toes on each feet had 2 big blisters on them and damn painful!
Wanted to slack and nuah at home today but went out with Ivan & JJ in the end... shopping for presents for 2 birthday boys and rot at Starbucks... i bought 2 tops from Mango too! Boy, i am such a spendthrift!! But anyway, its the festive season la... just feel like splurging! =)
