Just got back not long from the recording of Project Superstar Guys Semi Finals 4. Somehow i got 2 tickets to the show in my mailbox... i think it was from the previous Superstar when i was crazy over Derrick, and wrote in together with PS & Fiona to request for tickets... but its amazing that after 1 year, the enclosed self-addressed envelop was still somewhere in Mediacorp and hence, the tickets...
Xiaomin and i arrived around 6.45pm and they took soooo damn long to find everyone a seat, especially the latecomers... while both of us almost fell asleep, satisfied in our well-hidden corner at the back of the studio... but unfortunately, that was the last 2 seats we could find when we reached and it happened to be the 'Nat Camp'... so cannot support Daren openly and of course, cannot bitch about Nat's performance...
Self-entertaining during the waitAnyway, there were lots to do before the show actually began... they wanted the audience to applaude, hold posters, scream etc etc so that they can record and then edit into the video... a lot of 'rah-rahs' to warm up the audience.. and i tell you, our ear drums nearly burst with all that screaming from the fans... both min and i were like the 2 most un-enthu people there, just waiting for the show to commence...
The most fun part at the recording was watching the hosts, Jeff and Quan Yifeng... they are so professional, can joke and laugh like mad and the next minute, get all serious when the cameras start rolling... but of course, there were a couple of NGs too... hilarious...
Of the 3 segments, Daren scored higher for the 1st 2 and for the 3rd song, both of them received the same total score from the judges... well well... call it biased or whatever, i still got to say i prefered Daren's peformance though he seemed like he's less energentic than Nat.... gotta stay tune to the results show tomorrow night to find out who will emerge as winner! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
