Happy Chinese New Year!! Hope everyone had a great celebration during the last 2 days and hopefully nobody has put on a lot of weight with the amount of feasting!

Coming from a traditional family, i enjoy CNY the most. It's the time when every single member of the family will be around, be it for the reunion dinner or the visiting. The visiting part is the most fun cos we always move around together (4 families from my maternal side) - in my dad's car and my uncle's van. This year's schedule seems a little tight, or perhaps we stayed longer at some places. We gambled less too, think we did more house-hopping this year...

Though things are the same year after year - the food we eat (roast chicken and duck, steamboat, pineapple tarts, bak kwa etc etc), the amount of $ in ang baos, the places/relatives we visit, and even the 'itinerary', but it is really a great time to see all your relatives and to catch up.

Another great thing about CNY is that everyone can dress up and be pretty!

I'm tired to write so just enjoy the 'truckload' of photos!

Me & my 'zi lian' self - dressing up on the various days

1. Family pic 2. Mum & Aunt 3. Bro & Cousin 4. Me & Bro
(The popular colour for 2007 seems to be red and pink in my family)

Showing off my super duper cute cousin - knows how to pose now!

Went to my 3rd aunt's place on day 2 and there was a lion dance performance. The troupe's from Republic Poly and my cousin's the one hitting the drum! Super duper cool! Thats her CCA, btw.

Visited my 3rd aunt's in-law's place in the evening... i am extremely inpressed with the house! Its ultra huge, 3 storeys high with an attic... has a jamming room, a karaoke room (the system is like K-Box sia!!) and nice furnishing! I am so dead drop envious!!

Random photos with cousins & bro

Family photos at the super impressive house

See!! They have beautiful outdoor decor... a mini bridge, pond etc

Day 3 was out visiting also... as my close friends know, if we have 15 days of public holiday for CNY, my family can be out visiting all 15 days! Muahaha... too many relatives la... but usually we will have 1 day when all the relatives will come over to my place and my mum will cook a mountain-load of food to feed everyone...

Anyway, i hope everyone had a blast and its back to school/work tomorrow... ending off with a super zi lian photo again! hahaha
