The last 1 minute of Valentine's Day - still wishing everyone Happy Valentine's Day cum Friendship Day!! Hope everyone had fun and enjoyed themselves!
I must say i'm really fortunate to have real sweet friends around me! Who says singles are lonely on a day like this?! I had hell lot of fun today, and in fact, in the best of mood so far this week...
Just an hour before midnight yesterday, some guy called when i was already asleep... picked up the phone and heard something like '... referral... outside your house now...' totally in a state of blur-ness and opened the door with half opened eyes to see this guy delivering roses... its half a dozen of pink roses from Mr Ivan! Really surprised la... but really nice of him! Thanks man!
Got another surprise this morning from my colleague, Ying Ying... she bought me a fake flower (those soft toy kind, and actually her bf paid!! haa... so i must thank Ray) plus chocolates! Didn't expect it but super sweet of her and Ray la!
Had a different experience of 'shopping' - went marketing during lunch today! The 2 PAs, Agnes, Chan and myself went to this seafood wholesaler at Pandan Loop to buy seafood for CNY!! I bought fresh prawns, tempura, silver fish and octopus! Don't laugh... i know it sounds very auntie but well, its my little contribution to my family now that i'm working...
After that, we packed yummy indian rojak and bee hoon goreng back to eat in office... all gathered in the pantry and had so much fun... plus there was delicious pineapple tarts and sugee from one of the vendors!! Really mood - holiday mood... counting down to CNY and nobody wishes to work!
Lastly, my evening was spent shopping with Ying Ying at Bugis! I must thank this gal for her company... really makes me high! We ate hell lot of stuff and shopped till our legs were on the verge of breaking!
Before i end off, i wanna sincerely thank everyone who were concerned about me during the past few days when i was really down because of some jerk... darlings like Xiaomin, Xing Xuan, Ying Ying, Leverie, Agnes, Alyn and even Jordan... i promise you people that i definitely won't do silly things like jump off a building cos its totally not worth it and i will move forward!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
