Its the ang moh boss' 50th birthday today and we had a not-so-mini-yet-not-so-grand celebration for him this afternoon. His wife came along with a cake and the rest of us (his PA, the few of us who's helping his dept and his lab staff) contributed 5 bucks each to buy food for the party. There's lots of fruits (strawberry, mango, kiwi, dragonfruit, banana) for the chocolate fondue, fishball, nuggets, ice-cream, chips... my tummy almost burst!
Been very busy with work the last few days as we are preparing for financial year closing... loads of purchases to be made with the remaining budget, leading to piles and piles of PO to fax and update in the system... even stayed till 8plus a few days back just to help my colleague raise request for his dept's purchase... but the next day, he rewarded me with a sumptuous lunch at Swensens! Whee~ Kudos to Wong!! My colleagues from the Procurement dept is planning to bring me out for lunch one of these days too, to thank me for helping them with the admin part of their work!
