Been really tired lately and falling asleep at like 10pm for the last 2 days, which is way before my usual bedtime!! Work, boyfriend, family, friends, boyfriend, work... so many things to do yet only 24 hours a day, 7 days a week...
The amount of work and some stress and unhappiness caused by the recent bonus + pay increment is enough to make me go bogus!! Some colleague was so unhappy with her bonus and went round complaining and sort of comparing with the rest... made me so uneasy when she started asking me about the jobscope of other colleagues...
In addition, having a very nice and hospitable director did not make work easier.. he wanted to entertain all visits and we ended having 5 different groups of visitors this afternoon.. such a hectic day! The short turnaround time between each visit was really a challenge to us and our whole department was deployed, even our temp girl... the only consolation was that the Swedish Minister who visited is quite a handsome chap!
Oh yah, bonus bonus!! So happy la... got a reasonable amount, would be even better if mine wasn't pro-rated... but still better than getting nothing... and a gift from dear after we got our bonus! whee~
Went to his place last sat... met his family members... whoa~ nerve-wrecking time... The only time i felt comfy was when we were hiding in the room, fixing the new tv and watching shows...
Yeah its a public holiday tomorrow! It will be a long wait till the next - National Day in Aug... sigh...
