Dear, the blue rose wilted and dropped petals... looking quite pathetic already... i so sad
Black Rose on leave today and i was so busy at work, didn't even have time to pee! Not that the office cannot operate without her but colleagues have to cover her work and this just deprives others of their time to do their own work.
I think i am beginning to dislike Black Rose a teeny weeny bit more... We are going through a busy period with just 2 poor souls (yes, thats me and my boss) handling both the Admin and Corp Comms department, with SAB and AACR coming up... plus PGS, HUGO and all other events from STN... but this Black Rose (the name is too nice for her anyway) is always thinking about taking leave and already planning to take leave during the SAB and 1 week before AACR. How could she?!!!
I like being busy, that kind of feeling when i have a lot of work to accomplish.. cos a bit of pressure can push one slightly over the limit BUT i cannot take it when i have TOO much to handle and end up not knowing which to settle first. Reading emails and following up alone can take up half the day.
My colleague laughed at me this morning cos i was looking horrible. Hair messy, face blur... She thought i missed dear too much and ended up looking that scary... haa... imagine you had to go through an excel spreadsheet filled with nearly a thousand contacts and for each contact, there were about 40 fields comprising first name, last name, organization, email, business address, blah blah blah, designation, birthday... blah blah blah, even hobby!!
I have to screen through all those contacts, filter them by country and email to all these people to invite them for our upcoming conference. Within the local ones, i still have to decide whether we want to extend a special discounted rate to them and send out separate emails. Simple task actually but super duper tedious... our temp guy almost fainted when he saw the spreadsheet...
Can't wait for all the big events to be over and i shall clear block leave in late Nov and Dec... will apply way before so that Black Rose cannot do so! Muahahha... i am being evil again.. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
