Its finally Friday! After a week's work, i am so grateful for i can sleep in as late as i want the next day!!
3rd day after Mid-Autumn and the moon is still very round and bright... i swear i saw the 'Jade Rabbit' in the moon as i was walking home earlier... haha! I ate one whole mooncake by myself the day before. No wonder dear said see mooncake reminds him of my face... sigh.. i've been eating way too much these days!
I'm getting hungry as i am typing this entry... suddenly miss the feast dear and i had at chomp2 some months back... zhui kueh, stingray, carrot cake.... slurp slurp!~ Lets go again!
Anyway, today had been a rather meaningful day for me. Did a fair bit of catching up...
Lunched with JH at Holland V's NYDC. Finally. We had always been talking about it but didnt get down to meeting. After the usual updates on school and work, we started getting bitchy la... super curious if this certain couple in our jc class are still together... wahaha!
This JH is always full of nonsense... we were talking about jobs, getting married (of course not me to him!) etc... and he described a scene which we both thought was super funny! It was a scenario in the mrt train, say 5 years later, where he gave up his seat to a pregnant woman... and as he raised his head.... 'eh, SHUYI! Its you! Come sit down...' Wah lao~~ or worse, i was dragging 2 kids with me and asking them to address him as uncle! Sigh... symptom of ageing... when you start imagining things like that... The 'Si-----s Club' [please, we need to amend the name] should really meet up soon la... JH, please organise!!
Catch up with another bunch of people in the evening - my 2 big bros, James & YS. James' birthday 2 weeks back plus YS' return from Aussie... just nice, collapsed into 1 meeting. Totally amazing cos YS and i have never met before in person, only friends in 'cyber form' for the past 8 years!

So grateful that the Republicans, e4, Si-----s Club, the Uni clique are still taking effort to keep in touch... i dont want to grow old and have no more friends!!
