A brand new year, a brand new start!
Good memories of 2007 will be kept in a corner of my heart and good riddance to all the unhappiness! Most importantly, my resolution - no more tears! I shall not cry unnecessary, shall not cry over things that are unworthy of my tears anymore.

Was struggling between going home or rotting in office before meeting the republicans yesterday... fortunately saved by the bestie who happened to sms me at the right time, so we met for lunch! Lunch was fantastic, nice ambience, good service (the owner even offered to help us take photos when he saw us photo-whoring)... but it was a little too costly.

Movie with the republicans... i almost fell asleep in the middle cos it was a bit draggy. We switched from the usual comedies to a more serious type of show... 1st time that i didnt hear Ivan's loud laughter in the cinema!

Mel left after dinner and i was left with the guys. Awaited the fireworks at Esplanade... took 30 mins to walk there from Suntec, waited 30 mins till countdown, took another 45 mins to squeeze with the crowd to get to the train station (we 'escaped' to Dhoby Ghaut!) - all for 8 mins of fireworks display. I admit, i am too old for countdowns!
Being the rose among the thorns, i was well-protected by the guys. Fortunately. Thanks dudes.
There were so many, so many 'Charlie Browns'! I was shocked when i felt a hand on my arm... fortunately it was Ruiz trying to keep me away from the 2 Charlie Browns next to me. And the irritating idiots who kept spraying foam and confetti... they were fortunate only a bit got onto us... such a night - Ms Koh is defeated.
