Okok, i'm finally willing to move my lazy self to update the blog and also decided to open up the blog again. Hopefully some immoral, unethical "so-called friend" will not be "spying" on me and indirectly finding out how i am after that break-up anymore! Digging into details like who initiated the break-up and what nots, and claiming she is not close to
her, i saw this "friend" going for lunch with
her today!
Time really passes and 1st quarter of the year has gone by. This time last year, we progressed from friends to lovers. Same time this year, we are as good as strangers? Quite sad how human relations can change... oh well..
Talk about happier stuff... I know the Bangkok trip entry is delayed since 1 month ago.. so here you go!
Ventured on a 4D3N fun, fun and fun (but tiring!) trip to BKK with bestie last month.
Looking fresh in the morning - 4 March, 10.30am
Mad rush to board - no seat allocation on Air Asia
Nearly 3 hours later, we landed at Suvarnabhumi International Airport. But it was a distance away... we alighted from the plane and boarded the Air Asia bus which brought us to the airport itself.

Took a cab to our hotel which cost us 500 baht (~$22). My colleague paid 400 baht and it was already overpriced! We knew we were 'carrot-ed' but well, we rather pay more than to be sorry.

After checking in, we began our exploration via the BTS. The ticketing machine reminded me of our pre EZ-link card days!

The above photo shows our 1st meal in Bkk. The sticky mango rice and green bean pastry have been over-rated on forums - not as yummy. Even the takopachi isn't as nice as our local ones.
After filling our stomachs, next task was SHOPPING! Look at the shopping bags i was carrying!
We tried taking the underground subway too - to the night bazaar. The black token is like our ez-link card - tap and go! On your exit, just slot the token into a slot (so we can't bring it back).

Dinner - Pad Thai, Tom Yum Goong & Oyster Egg

Check out the loot at the end of day 1!
Started Day 2 early and ventured to Chinatown - Platinum Mall - MBK - Siam Square.

Refreshed & ready for breakfast!
We tried another type of local transportation - took the express boat to Chinatown and had a beautiful view during the ride. There was also a guide on board every ride to give an introduction of the sights. Nice experience!

More shopping - Tired like nobody's business - Supper in hotel
Part 2 to be continued in next entry...
