I never thought such friendship problems will still arise in the working world. It seemed like a matter of secondary school days.
A simple misunderstanding led to disfragmentation of the group, putting the others in a difficult spot. The non-involved parties don't wish to take sides for they feel that this is a very small issue. Nobody is in the right or wrong, just that both parties had different mentality and viewpoints.
To be frank, I think one took things too hard and over-reacted while the other, was too compassionate or maybe, truthful for her own good?
2 years of friendship and all the support we've given each other - so hard to come by, especially in the workplace. All crumbled because of a minor problem and the problem does not affect any of them directly!
I was pinning hopes that things will be resolved. 1 week has past and seems like things remained stagnant, if not worsen. With the resignation, I think this friendship is already gone and will never be reconciled. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
